In 1913, the 'Portrait of Mrs D', which can be identified with Helena Dygatówna, Janina's sister (known from the 1903 portrait), was added to the French collection. There are also attempts to identify Mrs D. with Helena Gromnicka (26 January 1896, Lviv - 26 March 1962), wife of Stanisław Dygat - captain of the Polish Army administration and a diplomat, but the age of the portrayed does not indicate this. Mrs D. is depicted with her eyes looking down in contemplation, wearing a black dress trimmed with white lace.

Two-sided work: on the reverse is a sketch of a still life with a doll (infanta?), a book and flowers

State purchase for the collection of the Luxembourg Museum in Paris, 1913, since 1981 in the collection of the Musée d'Orsay.
