Biography:

Patrycy Franciszek Andrzej Garczyński (1837-1877), born in La Flèche, son of Patrycy Józef Garczyński, captain in the Polish Army, and Marie Brodley Luard. A participant in the January Rising, entrepreneur and coachmaker in a carriage factory. Naturalised in France by decree of 24th December 1870. Husband of Pulcheri Anna Garczyńska-Prażmowska, married before November 1876.

Took his own life on 11 November 1877 in Paris. Buried on 14 November 1877 in the Garreau crypt (annual number 517, death certificate no. 3787), transferred on 27 February 1878 to the present concession.
