A short press note mentions the commencement of work by the Committee for the Construction of a Monument to Marshal Pilsudski in Stanislawow. Monument to Marshal Piłsudski in Stanisławów.

On the initiative of Governor General Pasławski, the work of the Committee for the Construction of a Monument to Marshal Piłsudski in Stanisławów was undertaken. In this connection, a meeting of the Executive Committee was held under the chairmanship of President Dr. Stroński, at which the plan for the monument's construction was approved, according to the design of Major Miszewski. This monument is to be at the same time a symbol of the heroic deeds of the Carpathian Legion Brigade. The monument will be erected on the Embankment from 3-go Maja Street. The Committee decided to ask the Municipal Board to acquire the plot of land needed for this purpose from the M.K.K.O., and to apply to the Central Committee for the Commemoration of Marshall Piłsudski for a subsidy for the purpose of building the monument in the amount that the local Committee had paid to the Central Office.

According to the calculations of the Committee members, the casting of the monument and the earthworks around its setting will be carried out in a short time, and the unveiling will take place in the summer of this year at the latest.
