Efforts have recently been made in the United States to build a monument in the city of Savannah, State of Georgia, in honour of General K. Pulaski. Senator Minton recently introduced a joint resolution to Congress requesting the establishment of a special commission to look into the construction of the monument. This commission, entitled the 'General Casimir Pulaski Memorial Commission', is to consist of nine members to bring the project to a definitive conclusion.
