Votive Monument to Michael and Sophie Dziobaty

Довжанка | Ukraine

Relocated gravestone, originally marked with cross on its own base, two-stage plinth and two-stage base. First step of plinth surmounted by moulding, inscription inscribed in rhombus on front (2). The second step of the pedestal topped with a simplified beam, on the front an engraved inscription (1) and a niche closed at the corners with a quarter-circle in relief of St. Michael. The saint is depicted wearing a knee-length tunic, in his left hand an oval shield with an engraved cross, in his right hand a javelin. The other sides of the pedestal decorated with a rhombic linear frame enclosed in quarter circles at the corners.
