Mausoleum of the heart of the Marshal and his mother.

Vilnius. Work is nearing completion at the Ross Cemetery, where the heart of the Marshal and his mother's ashes will be placed in a mausoleum on 12 May. This mausoleum, whose builder is Professor Wojciech Jastrzębowski, is modest. It is more of an underground tomb, consisting of a crypt lined entirely with granite.

On the outside, only the podium of light granite covering this tomb and the great main slab of red granite, with the inscription established by the Supreme Committee for the Commemoration of the Marshal's Memory, standing out in the middle, eloquent for today and future generations, will be visible among the four pine trees already planted: "Mother and Son's Heart". On both sides of the stone path to the mausoleum, flowerbeds will stretch across the entire width of the cemetery where the Commander-in-Chief will lay his heart among the devoted soldiers.
