Cleaning works at the cemeteries in Niemila and Zimna Woda

Information about facilities:
Cemetery with Polish burials, e.g. legionary Franciszek Korniak, Lt. WP Fr. Billian, Koncewicz, Zieliński, Jocher, Messner, Müller, Nessl.

Monument commemorating the murdered inhabitants of the now defunct village of Niemila (location: 49.85032444331899, 23.99479225043726).

Completed works:
In the village of Nemila, which no longer exists on the map, the surroundings of the monument to the murdered inhabitants were cleaned up, and the metal fence received a protective and decorative coat of paint.

In Zimna Woda (near Lviv), the area of the cemetery with burials dating mainly from before World War II was saved from total destruction and oblivion. The area was cleared of weeds, the monuments were cleaned, damaged elements were removed from the ground and glued back into place. The inscriptions on all of the cleaned monuments were renewed, thus restoring and saving the memory of those buried there. All monuments were chemically impregnated for long-term protection against the elements.
