The cemetery in Crooked Lake with Polish gravestones. Its area is approximately 0.5 ha.

2019
In the necropolis, in addition to typical cleaning work, shrubs and trees - self-sowing trees that regularly damage the remains of tombstones - were cut down. The tombstones themselves, their immediate surroundings and the fences surrounding them were also in need of repair. The metal parts of crosses, gravestones and fences, including the cemetery, were cleaned. Documentation of the work carried out was made.

2021
At the local cemetery, volunteers removed trees, shrubs and other unnecessary vegetation in the area. This made it possible to expose three of the most interesting tombstones, which are real proof that Poles lived there Thanks also to good cooperation with the local authorities, who made heavy equipment available, it was possible to reposition and bring back to its original form a beautiful tombstone lying in several pieces on the ground for years. The work was carried out by an international group of 7 volunteers, Poles and 2 Dutchmen, with the help of parishioners from St Louis Church, to which the cemetery belongs.

The tangible results of the project are: a brochure informing about the scope of the work carried out, the care and maintenance materials used; a photographic exhibition dedicated to the changes taking place in the cemetery thanks to the work of the volunteers; and a film made by the volunteers.
