Information about the object:
The cemetery in Nowe Miasto is located around the parish church and was established probably in the 16th century. There are many tombstones of significant monumental value. Among the well-preserved ones are the gravestone of Magdalena Gużkowska, née Stupnicka (d. 1847) in the form of a magnificent cast-iron stele decorated with a cast-iron garland, and a stone obelisk standing next to it (in the same cast-iron fence) on the grave of Laura Guźkowska, née Baron Soeldenbolden (d. 1884). There is also a neo-Gothic bell tower by the cemetery wall.

Completed works:
The aim of the task was to carry out cleaning work in the Polish cemeteries in the parish of Novyi Miasto in Ukraine. There are 7 cemeteries under the care of the local parish priest. The cemetery in Novy Miasto was in most urgent need of help, so at the request of the pastor, work on this cemetery was concentrated and work on the cemetery in Rożewo (Rosenerg) was abandoned. A photographic documentation of the cemetery before and after the works were carried out was prepared, as well as a documentation of the objects that most urgently need professional conservation. The work was fully completed and seventeen volunteers took part.
