In 1926, Samuel Tyszkiewicz decided to establish a Polish printing house, still known today as Stamperia Polacca. Its premises were initially located at Piazza d'Azeglio 20 in Florence, but later changed address several times.

The outhouse's first print was a monograph on the Italian sculptor and architect Bernardo Rossellino (1928 ) by Maryla Tyszkiewiczowa. This edition was much admired in Polish bibliophile circles, who described it as a "reliable work of art". The second book produced by the publishing house was Fiorenza , a work by Samuel Tyszkiewicz himself, telling the story of Florence and illustrated with woodcuts by Tadeusz Cieślewski (the son). In the following years, the publishing house issued many extraordinary prints, including the Polish and Italian editions of Adam Mickiewicz 's Crimean Sonnets , Cennino Cennini's Rzecz o malarstwo [The Thing about Painting ], and - considered the most beautiful edition of Stamperia Polacca - Dante Alighieri's The New Life . All the publications of the publishing house bore a special trademark, the central element of which was a double cross growing out of a heart. The upper part of the heart was inscribed with the letters MST, while the lower part initially bore the Florentine lily and, in later years, the Tyszkiewicz family coat of arms, Leliwa. The Tyszkiewicz publishing house produced 60 book editions and countless job prints: invitations, greetings, New Year's greetings, badges, programmes and diplomas. Each of these can be considered a work of typographical art. Tyszkiewicz, guided by the motto "spend beautiful things beautifully", took great care with the appearance of his books. Bound in parchment, the volumes were printed on handmade paper with the outhouse's watermark and decorated in an elaborate manner. Decorative woodcuts were placed on the inserts. The editions were accompanied by a colophon and signed by Tyszkiewicz with his own signature. Their value is enhanced by the fact that they were printed in a small edition of only 150-300 copies. The quality of the Stamperia Polacca publication soon made it well known throughout Italy and abroad. Tyszkiewicz's works were presented at prestigious exhibitions, where they won recognition, including the Grand Prix at the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1937.
