Foundation plaque from St Casimir's Church in Vilnius

Cross stylised as a tree trunk on a rock-shaped plinth. On the pedestal at the front there were originally two plaques, of which one survives on the left side, fixed with rivets with an engraved inscription. Below this a panel, in which is an engraved inscription.

Comments on the state of preservation and visible restoration:

The plaque was found in the Ross cemetery by Antoni Łazarowicz, who wrote down its inscription in November 1886. By then it was already cracked. According to the records of Lucjan Uziębła, the monument was made on his inspiration by Rev. Kazimierz Pacynka.
