The article "Winter season in Truskavets" published in the magazine "Świat", 1931, no. 1, p. 26 (public domain, reprinted after the KUL University Library) briefly describes the expansion of the spa and the attractions and conveniences prepared for visitors in the upcoming winter season of 1931/1932. The spa in Truskavets was established in 1827, but the biggest expansion took place after 1911, when Rajmund Jarosz became the resort's owner. Many famous Poles visited the spa, including Irena Krzywicka, Zofia Nałkowska, Wincenty Witos, Ignacy Daszyński, Józef Piłsudski, Julian Tuwim, Adolf Dymsz, Stanisław Witkiewicz and Bruno Schulz.
