The article "Winter season in Truskavets" published in the magazine "Świat", 1931, no. 1, p. 26 (public domain, reprinted from the KUL University Library) briefly describes the extension of the spa and the attractions and conveniences prepared for visitors in the upcoming winter season of 1931/1932. The spa in Truskavets was established in 1827, but the biggest development came after 1911, when Rajmund Jarosz became the owner of the resort. Many renowned Poles visited the spa, including Irena Krzywicka, Zofia Nałkowska, Wincenty Witos, Ignacy Daszyński, Józef Piłsudski, Julian Tuwim, Adolf Dymsz, Stanisław Witkiewicz and Bruno Schulz.

Winter season in Truskavets.

The excellent results of the winter seasons so far in this charming Podkarpackie spa have given the management of the spa the impetus to make a number of improvements ahead of the upcoming winter season - which will run as usual from 1 December to 1 March. The main baths have been expanded for the winter season so that 50 cabins will be open this year - each with its own bed - centrally heated, properly ventilated and thus giving a full guarantee of the effectiveness of the treatment.

The mineral water pump room, with the famous "Naftusia" in the forefront, in a separate building, also centrally heated, makes it much easier - due to its proximity to the bathrooms - for one of the essential points of the treatment, which is drinking the life-giving springs of Truskavets. A number of interesting sports events have been announced, such as automobile races, choreographic performances on the skating track, ski races, etc., as well as the possibility of participating in beautiful group hunts organised by the Board, which ensure a pleasant stay for the visitors. Excellent company restaurant,

social club, dancing, cinema, theatre events and concerts complete the package. The spa management has made every effort to maintain direct communication with all centres of Poland. Taking into account today's difficult economic conditions, the management of the spa also carried out a possible reduction of prices in order to provide the possibility of a cheap stay in Truskavets.
