Last Sunday, our Podgórze population took part in a mass and, together with a group of scouts, offered prayers for the souls of the late Marshal Piłsudski and the Polish Legionaries buried in our cemetery. In the afternoon, a team of Vilnius scouts, returning from a rally in Spala, paid us a courtesy stop on their way through Jablunkov. The guests saw the town and souvenirs, and ended their stay by visiting the monument to Polish Legionaries, from where they continued their journey to Bratislava. We wish the friendly compatriots much pleasure on their onward journey.
