Biography:

Antoni Olesiński (1855-1904) was a Warsaw sculptor. He specialised in tombstone sculpture. He made tombstones in the Powązki Cemetery and the Evangelical-Augsburg Cemetery in Warsaw, as well as in Warsaw churches. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He was a pupil of Bolesław Syrewicz (1835-1899), while Olesiński's pupil was Jan Antoni Biernacki (1879-1930).
