Bajkowce cemetery

The cemetery is located on the territory of the former (until 1939) district of Ternopil. The cemetery is located on the south-eastern outskirts of the village of Bajkowce. It was established before 1890, which is indicated by the oldest preserved monuments. In the central part there are 20 preserved tombstones commemorating Poles who died before 1945. The layout of the cemetery is close to regular, with a designated main alley running from the gate. The eastern-northern part of the cemetery is heavily overgrown, disused. Tombstones in the Polish part currently without a clear layout, come from local workshops. The gravestone forms are dominated by crosses on a pedestal, there are also two obelisks and several gravestones with figural sculpture from local workshops. Some of the gravestones are preserved in the form of destructs.
