In Wawiórka there is the neo-Baroque church of the Transfiguration. According to Anna Lewkowska, Jacek Lewkowski and Wojciech Walczak, "three tombstones are embedded in the wall of the fence [church square] to the north and east - two undated Rossudowski family tombstones and an oval cast-iron plaque of Konstanty Szmigiera (d. 1865)." The inscription from it reads: "Here lie the remains / of the late KONSTANTE / SZMIGIERY / DIED 8 MARCH 1865. / AT THE AGE OF 42 / ASKS FOR 3 / HAIL M."
There is also a former parish cemetery in the village. According to the authors mentioned, it has a plan similar to a square and 0.3 ha in area. It was established in the 1st half of the 19th century. To quote: "Several dozen tombstones from the 2nd half of the 19th and early 20th centuries have been preserved there. There are no gravestones of artistic value among them. (...) The oldest, and at the same time the most interesting in the cemetery, is the tombstone of Róża née Wejssehoff Popławska (d. 1845)." The inscription from it reads: "PLEASE PRAY FOR THE DUSH OF RÓZA / Z WEJSSEHOFFÓW / POPŁAWSKA / DEATH DNIA 15 / SEPTEMBER 1845 ROKU".
According to Lewkowski and Walczak, the active Catholic cemetery has a rectangular plan and an area of 0.6 ha surrounded by a wooden fence. It was established in the first half of the 20th century. Most of the gravestones were created during this period. In the cemetery there is a quarter of AK soldiers. The inscription reads: "TU SPOCZYWAJĄZE ŻOŁNIERZE / VII BAT. 77TH PP OF THE NATIONAL ARMY / FALLEN WITH THEIR COMMANDER / LT. JAN PIWNIK "PONURY" / IN HEROIC BATTLE AGAINST THE GERMANS / ON 16 VI 1944. / UNDER JEWŁASZAMI-BOHDANAMI / HONOUR THEIR MEMORY / COMRADES IN ARMS / 1995". The cemetery is maintained in good condition.
