Biography:

Gabriel Michal Romuald Sokolnicki (1877-1975) rector of the Lwow University of Technology in 1931/1932, taught subjects such as electric lighting, wire calculations and electrical appliances, author of the first Project for the Electrification of Poland, played a significant role in the electrification of the country and the drafting of regulations in this field.
