Biography:

Kazimierz Krzyżanowski (1886-1974), born in Mitava, architect and construction entrepreneur. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Riga Polytechnic (1912) and from the Higher Technical School in Karlsruhe. After his studies, he became the head of a building office in Vilnius (1913-1915). After World War I, he moved to Gdansk, where he started working as Head of the Technical Department at the Polish Government Commissariat of the Free City of Gdansk. Subsequently, he became director of the company "Spółka Akcyjna Budowlana" in Gdansk, owner of "Inż. K. Krzyżanowski i S-ka, sp. z o.o. in Gdynia" and a construction company in Gdynia.
