The quarters at the Nowa Rossa Cemetery of Polish Army soldiers killed in the Polish-Lithuanian War of 1920 and members of the Vilnius Self-Defence, killed in 1919.

In the corner of the cemetery, just off the street, there is a military section. Polish and Lithuanian soldiers were buried here - victims of the 1920 battles and soldiers of the Vilnius Self-Defence, killed at the end of December 1918 and in January 1919. In the 1930s, exhumations and cleaning of the cemeteries were carried out. At that time, soldiers previously buried in the following locations were exhumed to the "small Polish-Lithuanian cemetery on Rossa": Paszki, Czeronka, Ruczaj, Stary Pohost, Hermanowicze, Wasilkowo, Budy, Otradno, Sporuny, Bojary. The graves of these soldiers (55 known by name and an undetermined number of unknown ones) are no longer in the cemetery at Novaya Rossa - they were obliterated and after the Second World War, when part of the plot was used for civilian burials. The dominant feature of the Novaya Rossa cemetery plot is a monument in the shape of a massive column, originally topped with a sculpture of an eagle. Its shaft is decorated with convex spears. Above their spearheads is the inscription: "WILNO TO ITS SAVIOURS". On the right side of the column are two rows of Lithuanian graves, on the left - 3 rows of Polish graves and 1 grave separately (in a row that no longer exists). There are now 40 Polish graves - 23 named and 17 unnamed. The renovation of the quarters was carried out in 2018-2019 by the Freedom and Democracy Foundation as part of a task co-financed by the programme of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage "Sites of National Remembrance Abroad". Due to the significant deterioration of the tombstone material, replicas were made; the monument underwent conservation.
