Biography:

Mikolaj Kamienski (1799-1873), né à Tuszebin près de Dubno, colonel, participant au soulèvement de novembre (1830-1831). Après la chute de l'Insurrection de novembre, il s'exile et s'associe au mouvement Towiańczycy. En 1848, il commande la légion Mickiewicz en Lombardie pendant le Printemps des nations, puis prend le commandement d'un régiment et d'une brigade de Cosaques du Sultan en Turquie.
