Tombstone of Marian Szymonowicz

The burial site is marked by a gravestone in the form of a neo-Gothic chapel with an angel figure, on a two-stage plinth and base. The chapel to the front with a semi-circular closed niche containing the figure of an angel on its own base in the form of a pile of stones. The figure is shown frontally, kneeling on his left knee, hands folded in prayer. The angel is dressed in a free-falling robe slung over his right shoulder, exposing his right leg from knee height. The chapel is framed at the corners by semi-columns on pentagonal bases, enclosed by a gabled roof, the sides with moulded triangular gables decorated with serrations. To the front, in the gable field, a low-relief three-leaved rosette, framed by stylised floral vicia. The second step of the plinth on the front with three panels, the central one set back. Engraved inscriptions in them. In the centre an inscription (1), to the left an inscription (2), to the right an inscription (3).

(2) Wonny pączku w dni / rozkwicie / Czemuś więdniał / w życia wiośnie / Ojciec matki Klejnot / dziecie / Z Tobą było tak / radośnie //.
(3) Dzisiaj płaczą Ciebie / nie ma / Byłeś dla nich / dzieckiem drogiem / Tyś im zawsze przed / oczyma / Złóż ich modły łzy / przed Bogiem //.
