Biography:

Stanisław Marusarz (1913-1993), Polish sportsman and coach. Ski jumper, double jumper and alpine skier. Four-time Olympian. In 1938 he won the silver medal at the world championships in Lahti. There were opinions that he was cheated then and should have taken first place. Best Sportsman of Poland in 1938 in the Przegląd Sportowy poll. Meritorious Master of Sport in 1951. Second lieutenant in the Home Army, knight of the Silver Cross of the Virtuti Militari War Order.
