Bust of Seweryn Gałęzowski, internationally renowned surgeon, November insurgent, émigré, independence and social activist. Gałęzowski was awarded the Golden Cross of the Order of Virtuti Militari for his heroic assistance to wounded insurgents. Among Seweryn Gałęzowski's many achievements, we should mention his participation in the organisation of a university in Mexico City and the reorganisation and financial support of the Polish National School in Paris.
