People's House in Chlebów named after Szczęsny Koziebrodzki.

More and more new cultural institutions are being established in the Ternopil province: People's Houses, chapels, community centres. In recent days, the consecration of the Szczęsny Koziebrodzki TSL People's House in Chlebovo, Skolatskiy district, took place. An organising committee was formed especially for the ceremony under the leadership of Director Ciemniewski. The village was beautifully decorated, the route for the guests was decorated with water reeds, and vehicles were waiting for the guests at the railway station in Grzymalow. A buffet was prepared at the school in Chlebowo.

The new People's House building was neatly finished, white-painted, the playing field was tidied up, and everything created a pleasant atmosphere. The welcome gate decorated with flags, adorned with flowers and greenery, brought together the people of the village. The ceremony was attended by the Governor of Ternopil M.A. Malicki, General Mashkevich, Starosta Rutkowski, representatives of social and economic organisations. The governor received the report of the shooting company and Omyślinowo under the command of lieutenant Dotanowski. The KOP orchestra was playing. The service in the local church was celebrated by Rev. Canon Kroczkiewicz from Grzymalow, who gave a sermon emphasising the value of the work of the local people in building the new church.

The consecration act of the House of the People was performed by Rev. Kroczkiewicz, and Director Ciemniewski presented the history of the construction of the House, raising the merits of Szczesny hr Koziebrodzki, the late Aczklewicz and Mr Stanislaw Wiatrowa, a teacher in Chlebov. The representative of the TSL Board, Mr Lorenc from Skatul, thanked the representatives of the authorities for their presence and assistance in the social action, and also thanked the Frontier Protection Corps, Mr Szczęsny Koziebrodzki, the clergy and all those who had contributed to the atmosphere of strengthening Polish culture and the construction of the Folk House.

In his speech, Governor Malicki pointed out the important cultural and educational role of the Folk House, which today has taken the place of the former defensive castles of Podolia. Mr Voivode recalled that Chlebów was founded by the knight of Polish Bread. General Fazzkiewicz still spoke on behalf of the Covenant Secretariat, after which the guests were invited to lunch in the great hall of the new People's House, where more than a hundred people sat at a common table.
