Graves of victims of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA)

During the Second World War there was strong Polish self-defence in Rymaczy, thanks to which the inhabitants avoided an attack by the Ukrainians. Despite this, individuals were murdered. The victims were buried in the local cemetery. Some Poles murdered by members of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army in the neighbouring villages of Jagodzin Nowy and Jankowce were also buried in Rymaczy.

A few individual graves of Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) victims have survived to the present day.
