Biography:

Henri Proszynski (1887-1967) was a French sculptor with Polish roots active in France. He went down in history primarily as the creator of monuments in tribute to French soldiers who took part in the First World War and animalistic figures. One of his best-known creations is the fountain 'Fauna splashing water on a goat' designed for the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts and Industry in Paris in 1925, presented in the gardens of Cours-la-Reine.
