Biography:

Jean Ladislas Gałęzowski (1877-1937), born in Paris, son of Xavier François Gałęzowski and Augusta Marguerite Louise Amélie Tamberlick, physician. His wife was Odette Esther Elisa Levylier. He took over the practice of ophthalmology from his father, gaining recognition in French literature. He died on 6 March 1937 at his residence at Avenue Foch 26 in Paris. His death was recorded at the mayoress of the 16th arrondissement of Paris (deed number 497). He was buried on 7 March 1937 in the Père-Lachaise cemetery in concession no. 613-1884, div. 11, row 5/10, gr. 10/12 (annual no. 426).
