Biography:

Ludwik Ziemski (1887-1952), born in Budzanów, son of Teofil Ziemski, sculptor. He trained in Strusowo in the workshop of the artist Damian Karol. After his teacher's death, he married his widow and took over the running of the workshop. He took part in the Polish-Bolshevik war, during which he was seriously wounded. After the war, he moved to Ziębice, where he taught sculpture and painting at the ceramics school.
