Tombstone of Alexander, Eugene and Yvette Kucharski

On a broad square granite pedestal, a thick flat slab of black marble, on it in one corner (at the head) a tall rectangular pedestal with a pseudo inscription, flanked by two lower and smaller pedestals in truncated rectangles; on the central pedestal, a bronze sculpture on a base depicting a supernaturally tall Christ in a long ancient robe with his hands directed towards his bare chest. On the pedestal an engraved inscription, below it an engraved Order of the Golden Fleece.

A model of the monumental sculpture in plaster called 'Sacré Coeur' is in the Musée de Saint Maur, donated by the artist's daughter Maya Black; the sculpture of Christ was made in 1935 and named as 'Le Christ-Roi' (see A. Schneeberger, François Black avec 22 Reproductions de Sculptures, Paris 1939).
