Tombstone of Peter and Wiktoria Kowal

Cemetery in Draganovka

Burial place marked by a statue of St Peter on a two-stage base and plinth. Figure in slight contrapposto, wearing long robe and mantle, on its own base. Face with moustache and beard, slightly elevated. The tip of the nose is lost. Left hand lowered along body, book in hand. Right hand bent at elbow, palm at waist level, holding keys. Second step of base - sides and top covered with facing of broken bricks, stones and concrete. Plinth surmounted by wider moulded panel with gables and acroterions at corners. On the front a panel with chamfered quarter-circle corners where an inscription is engraved. The other sides are decorated with an engraved frame repeating the shape of the panel. The statue and the pedestal are covered with secondary silver painting.
