Tombstone of the Poloczek family

Jabłonków | Czech Republic

Burial place marked by a gravestone, at the head of which is a cross on a two-stepped plinth and base. Cross widening downwards. The arms of the cross terminating in a concave-convex arch. At the intersection of the arms of the cross the ceramic head of Christ wearing a crown of thorns. The second step of the pedestal closed with a full overhanging arch. On the front side in a panel repeating the shape of the plinth an engraved inscription (1). The first step of the pedestal with chamfered upper edges. On the front, engraved inscription (2), signature at the bottom right. Base on front and back in thick vertical striations. The gravestone consisting of two panels enclosed by a segmental arch.
