Polish architects and Kharkiv. Polyphony of stone melody

The exhibition "Polish Architects and Kharkiv. Polyphony of Stone Melody" The exhibition, whose author is Professor Lyubov Zhvanko, presents the profiles and designs of Polish architects who built some 90 buildings in Kharkiv in the mid-19th and early 20th centuries. Most of them have been preserved to this day and are architectural monuments - which is why it is so important not to forget these unique projects. All the more so as they are threatened at the present time by the hostilities waged by Russia on Ukrainian territory.

Working on the exhibition was, in the words of Prof. Lyubov Zhvanko, "a kind of investigation, an attempt to find answers to numerous questions and to solve mysteries related to the biographies of these great masters of architecture - not very well known in Poland, but appreciated and recognised in distant Kharkiv".
