Monument to the fallen soldiers of the 51st Infantry Regiment in Brzeżany

In Brzeżany there was a monument erected in honour of the fallen soldiers of the 51st Infantry Regiment. The monument was unveiled in 1933 on the premises of the barracks on the initiative of Colonel Stanisław Widacki. The work consisted of a tall, straight pillar topped with a sculpture of a crowned eagle. Adjacent to the pillar, placed on a pedestal, was a sculpture depicting soldiers. The pedestal bore the inscription: "TO THE BOHATHERS / 51-PUŁKU-PIE / CHOTY POLE / G££M WAL / KACH FOR WOLF / NURSE AND PLAY / NICE THINGS / POSPOLITY / IN THE YEARS / 1918 - 1921".
