Information about the object:
The project "Pożoga. Volunteers for the Volhynian Division" was carried out on the 80th anniversary of the 27th Volhynian Infantry Division, the largest partisan unit during World War II. On 26 July 1944. The Soviets disarmed the division, then some of the soldiers were shot in Kąkolewnica, among other places, and some were sent to NKVD mass isolation sites for Polish prisoners of war.

Completed works:
The project took the form of a camp, which included cleaning up cemeteries in the villages of Rymacze, Bielin, Zasmyki, Kupiczów, Łuków. A walking rally was organised and six places connected with the history of the 27th Division were visited, where candles were lit (Luboml, Kowel, Suszybaba, Kustycze, Radowicze, Kolodiażne). In each of the planned sites and those co-opted to the camp schedule, lectures were held on topics related to the above-mentioned localities (Zasmyki, Rymacze, Bielin, Luboml, Mielniki, Łuków, Kowel, Kolodiażne, Suszybaba, Kupiczów, Kustycze, Radowicze). On 9 November 2024, an exhibition consisting of eight boards with photos documenting the work of volunteers was realised in the common room of the 3-18 Labour Corps in Lublin. A calendar and commemorative T-shirts were produced, and candles were lit at the Lublin war quarters of the Volhynian Soldiers. A reportage on the 27th WDP AK was also produced and aired on the Lublin TVP channel in December. 46 volunteers took part in the project.
