Programme of mourning ceremonies in Vilnius on 11 and 12 May.

The programme of the ceremonies for the transfer of the Marshal's heart has been established. There will be the carrying of the Mother's coffin from St Teresa's Church to Rossa Cemetery. On 11 May, the eve of the anniversary of his death, at 8.45 p.m. (the hour of the Marshal's death) there will be the carrying of the coffin of the Marshal's Mother from the underground to St Teresa's Church and the removal of the urn containing the Marshal's heart from the walled niche and placing it in front of the Mother's coffin. Also at 8.45 p.m., 21 shots will be fired, followed by the ringing of the bells of all the Vilnius churches for 15 minutes after a three-minute silence.

From 8.00 p.m. on 11 May and throughout the day on 12 May, all concerts in restaurants and cafés, and performances in theatres, cinemas and shows will cease. On 12 May, a memorial service will be held at 8 a.m., after the arrival of the President, followed by the departure of the funeral procession from St. Theresa's Church at 9 a.m. The entire procession will be divided into three sections, including the Church of St. John the Baptist and the Church of the Holy Cross. The entire procession will be divided into three groups. The first group will carry an urn containing the heart of the Marshall. The urn will be followed by a carriage carrying the coffin of the Marshal's mother. The second group of the procession will include the President of the Republic of Poland, the Marshal's family, the Government, MPs and senators, and the officer corps.

The third group of the procession will consist of arrivals from social, religious and official organisations. A speech will be made at Rossa Cemetery by the President of the Republic, after which the laying of the heart and remains of the Speaker's Mother into the mausoleum and its closing will take place. While the heart and coffin are being carried inside the mausoleum, the radio will give signals calling for the cessation of all work and movement and for a three-minute silence to mark the moment. At this time the cannon batteries will give 101 shots and the orchestra will play the national anthem. In the evening, military units will perform the 'funeral snare'.
