A note informs of the planned unveiling of a monument to Adam Mickiewicz in Paris and of the celebrations and attractions prepared for the occasion. The monument, designed by Antoine Bourdelle, was unveiled on 29 April 1929. Before the unveiling of the Mickiewicz monument.

This year, a monument to Adam Mickiewicz is to be erected in Paris on the Place Alma by the eminent French sculptor Bourdelle. On the day of the unveiling of the monument, one hour in all French municipal and secondary schools will be devoted to Mickiewicz. A separate commission has already been set up in Paris to draw up a programme of activities to accompany the unveiling of the monument.

This commission consists of Antoni Potocki, as chairman, M. Rakowska, Prof. Zaleski, Prof. Folkierski, Cezary Jellenta, Dr E. Woroniecki, Danysz, Topass and Tesslar. The action of the committee will develop mainly in the field of publishing and propaganda. The 'Golden Thoughts' of Mickiewicz's works, his lectures at the Collège de France and articles published in the 'Tribune des Peuples' are to be published. In addition, a separate work is to be published entitled. "Mickiewicz a France". The writing of this work was entrusted to A. Potocki.
