Biography:

Tadeusz Langier (1877-1940), born in Lviv, son of Andrew, photographer, economist and lawyer. He studied law at the Jagiellonian University. He collaborated with Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz, was his close friend and teacher of photography, and also appeared in his literary and artistic works. Among other things, he photographed during World War I as a sergeant in the 1st regiment of uhlans of the Polish Legions. Decorated with the Cross of Independence. He died in Zakopane.
