The bell tower at the 17th-century Church of St Michael the Archangel in Stara Sol. The church underwent renovations in 1930. The building was destroyed by fire in the 1970s. Its reconstruction has been underway since the 1990s.

Completed works:
As part of the implementation of the project, training and research activities were carried out under the supervision of conservators and art historians, who, together with a group of volunteers, documented the current condition of several religious buildings located near the current Polish-Ukrainian border. A characteristic feature of these objects is the material from which they were made, namely wood.

The documentation (photos, measurements, sketches) compiled by the volunteers under the supervision of a specialist became the basis for the preparation of a viewing exhibition on the objects under study (St Francis Borgia Church in Rozlucze; the public chapel of St Mary of the Scapular in Rozlucze). The chapel of Our Lady of the Scapular in Ilnik; the public chapel of Sts. Saints Peter and Paul in Wolczem; the bell tower at the Church of St Michael the Archangel in Stara Sol). A preliminary conservation opinion was also drawn up on the way forward and indications for the development of a conservation work programme for sacred wooden buildings.
