Information about the object:
The former fire station building in Lviv is a neo-Gothic structure whose construction began in the 1890s and was completed in 1901. A neo-classical sculpture of St. Florian by Piotr Wójtowicz, made in 1900, is located in the niche of the façade finial.

The Roman Catholic Parish of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary is located in the church. The Roman Catholic parish of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Stryj was founded in the mid-14th century during the reign of Casimir III the Great. The equipment of the first parish church was funded by King Władysław Jagiełło in 1427. It was rebuilt and repaired several times. The biggest fire (1886) led to its ruin and complete destruction of its valuable furnishings.

Completed works:
The task included activities at valuable objects of Polish cultural heritage on the territory of the former Ruthenian Voivodship, the condition of which required urgent conservation work of a rescue nature.

The conservation work included

the statue of St. Florian by Piotr Wójtowicz on the former fire station building in Lviv;

the mannerist portal of the chapel of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Lviv. The Mannerist portal of the chapel of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Stryj, with a memorial plaque to Tadeusz Kościuszko;

the tombstones of Andzia Kuryłowiczówna, Leonarda Chorzemska and Eugenia née Łysy Jung in the historic cemetery in Złoczów.
