A brief note, accompanied by a photograph, describes the unveiling of a bust of Marshal Pilsudski at the Ternopil State Female Gymnasium. The ceremony was attended by the local community and representatives of the state authorities, among others. The bust was made by L. Ziemski and funded by the Parent Circle of the establishment in connection with the school being named after J. The unveiling of a bust of Marshal Józef Piłsudski took place at the State Female Gymnasium in Ternopil. The ceremony was attended by representatives of state, military and school authorities, as well as a large number of parents of female alumni of the institution. After a speech by the chairwoman of the Parents Circle, Mrs M. Laniewska, the bust was unveiled by the governor of Ternopil, Dr Alfred Biłyk. Dr. Biłyk, Colonel Mozdyniewicz, the inspector Dr. J. Zaleski, the head of the school Mrs. Prochaskówna and the schoolgirl W. Ratuszna spoke warmly to the young people. After the singing of commemorative songs, the young people marched in contemplation in front of the bust. The bust, carved by sculptor L. Ziemski, was funded by the Parent Association of the school in connection with the naming of the secondary school after Marshal Piłsudski. The bust, made in Tremblovsk monolith by the Ternopil artist, underlines the feelings of the youth of the Podolia borderland, strongly connected with the idea of the Great Marshal. Prior to the ceremony, a mass was celebrated in the chapel of the establishment, presided over by the prefect Rev. Prof. A. Czwaczka.
