The text mentions an old chapel built by Anna Staal, cared for by the Franciscans. The chapel was placed under the administration of the priests of Smile and consecrated in 1791, and was later cared for by Fr Hieroteusz Lisiniecki, and then, after his death, by Maciej Męciński. The chapel burnt down in 1837 and was rebuilt by Fr Ilnicki.
