Berbeć has lived and worked in Luxembourg since 1981. His interests include the typology of rural architecture in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and were developed into a study entitled 'A Typological Approach to Rural Architecture in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg', which was published by the Ministry of Culture there in 1992. Thanks to this work, the Pole was awarded the Luxembourg Architecture Prize three years later.

His realisations include the Lycée Nic Biever high school building in Dudelange and the municipal administration headquarters in Tuntange , both prepared under the Agence d'Architecture Stanislaw Berbeć studio in collaboration with local partners.

The revitalisation and adaptation of historic buildings is also an important area of Stanislaw Berbeć's work. In addition to designing new buildings, the architect has been involved in the restoration and protection of Luxembourg's historic buildings for many years. Since the late 1980s, he has worked with the institution Le Service des Sites et Monuments, for which he has prepared numerous studies and drawing documentation. Among his projects are drawings of objects on the "Wenzel Route" , depicting the historic fortifications of Luxembourg, now displayed on information panels at the entrance to the Casemates.

In addition, he has taken part in numerous national and international architectural competitions, including winning a distinction in the competition for the building of the Academy of European Law in Trier. He also participated in the selections related to the EUR Congress Centre in Rome.

In Poland, he collaborates with the magazine Architektura, through which he popularises Luxembourg architecture.
