Commemorations of Adam Mickiewicz around the world

Białoruś

Grodno

Pomnik Adama Mickiewicza
28 października 1998 roku, w Grodnie stanął pomnik narodowego wieszcza Adama Mickiewicza. Wykonane z brązu popiersie poety stanęło na cokole obłożonym czerwonym marmurem. Autorem projektu jest artysta plastyk Andriej Zaspicki z Mińska. Odlewu dokonano w Warszawskich Zakładach Mechanicznych PZL „Wola”. One też były sponsorem popiersia. Koszty przygotowania odlewu i wykonania cokołu pokryły władze miasta Grodno. Na cokole znajduje się napis: „Adamowi Mickiewiczowi wdzięczni Rodacy 1998”, wykonany w dwóch językach: polskim i białoruskim.  Pomnik stanął przed budynkiem nieistniejącego obecnie Domu Polskiego przy skrzyżowaniu ulic Dzierżyńskiego i 17 września z inicjatywy społecznego komitetu im. Adama Mickiewicza przy Związku Polaków na Białorusi.

Pomnik Adama Mickiewicza
W Lidzie na Białorusi w centrum miasta znajduje się pomnik Adama Mickiewicza. Popiersie autorstwa Walerego Januszkiewicza wykonane jest z brązu i stoi na granitowym cokole. Pomnik postawiono dzięki inicjatywie i staraniom Klubu Miłośników Kultury Polskiej im. A. Mickiewicza w Lidzie i społeczeństwu polskiemu miasta, a jego uroczyste odsłonięcie nastąpiło 2 lipca 1989 r.

Zaosie

Muzeum Dwór Mickiewiczów
Muzeum Dwór Mickiewiczów w Zaosiu mieści się w odbudowanym zespole dworskim uznawanym, obok Nowogródka, za najbardziej prawdopodobne miejsce narodzin Adama Mickiewicza. Rekonstrukcję przeprowadzono w latach 1996-1998 na oryginalnych fundamentach, według rycin Edwarda Pawłowicza z 1843 r. Drewniany, kryty strzechą dworek mieści wystawę „Powrót Pana Tadeusza”. W skład muzealnego kompleksu wchodzą także spichlerz, obora, łaźnia i studnia z żurawiem.

Dolina Mickiewicza
Adam Mickiewicz spędził część życia w Kownie i wyrażał się o tym mieście z wielkim sentymentem. Jego ulubionym miejscem była dolina, która obecnie nosi nazwę Doliny Adama Mickiewicza. Znajduje się w niej kamień, na którym przyjaciele Mickiewicza wyryli jego inicjały oraz datę 1823. Przed kamieniem położono tablicę, na której widnieje fragment poematu „Grażyna” opisujący tę dolinę w języku litewskim.

Muzeum poświęcone Mickiewiczowi w „Domu Perkuna”
„Dom Perkuna” w Kownie to gotycka kamienica, w której znajduje się malutkie muzeum poświęcone Adamowi Mickiewiczowi. W tym budynku w pierwszej połowie XIX w. mieściła się szkoła i teatr, do którego uczęszczał Adam Mickiewicz.

Pomnik Adama Mickiewicza
Pomnik Adama Mickiewicza w Wilnie znajduje się w pobliżu kościoła Bernardynów, przy ulicy Maironio. Rzeźbę z granitu wykonał w 1984 r. Gediminas Jokūbonis.

Tablica upamiętniająca studia Adama Mickiewicza
Tablica upamiętniająca czas studiów Adama Mickiewicza w Wilnie, znajduje się na fasadzie murów Uniwersytetu Wileńskiego. Polski poeta uczył się tu w latach 1815-1890.

Nad wejściem do dawnego klasztoru Bazylianów umieszczono tablicę w dwóch językach, po litewsku i polsku, upamiętniającą autora „Dziadów”.

Pomnik Adama Mickiewicza we Lwowie
Pomnik Adama Mickiewicza według projektu Antoniego Popiela wybudowano staraniem Polskich Lwowian. Powstawał w latach 1902-1904, a odsłonięty został 30 października 1904 r. Przedstawia Mickiewicza przy podstawie kolumny. Nad poetą unosi się skrzydlaty geniusz. Kolumna zwieńczona zniczem. Dnia 22 listopada 1920 r. u jego stóp Marszałek Józef Piłsudski przyjął defiladę wojska, obrońców listopadowych i dekorował herb Lwowa Krzyżem Virtuti Militari.
