Stanislas Palace in Wissembourg

The Stanislas Palace in Wissembourg was built in 1722 as the residence of Stanislas Leszczynski. The building was constructed on the site of a former Cistercian manor and served him until 1725, when his daughter Marie Leszczyńska married King Louis XV of France.

Since 1929, the building has been listed as a French monument. In the 20th century, the chateau was transformed into a hospital, which operated until 1973 and then - until the early 21st century. - served as a retirement home. In 2015, the building was sold to private individuals.
