The three paintings are now hung in the left nave of the church, on the wall of the emporium, transformed during the conservation work of the early 20th century. The central painting, with its depiction of Jacob and Laban's flock gathered around a well, is signed 'Johan Simon Lobaczynskj' and dated 19.II.1705. The upper part bears a banderole with the founder's name and a medallion in which a scene of Jacob fighting an angel is painted; it is likely that the biblical themes associated with Jacob have reference to the founder of the original (mid-18th century altered) gallery, Jakob Arentzen.

The inscriptions on the banderole, as well as on the landscape side paintings (here putti lift the inscription plaques), are in German.

The state of preservation is very poor, the boards vertically cracked.

A native of Lida (near Vilnius, now Belarus), Lobaczynski had Helsingør citizenship since 1699, married there and died in 1707.
