A short note, accompanied by an occasional photograph, describes the consecration of the new People's House in Bortniki in the Bóbrka district. The consecration of the TSL House in Bortniki, Bóbrka district. The President of the TSL Circle, Mr Adamowski (with a commemorative book), welcomes the Bóbrka starost, M.A. Franciszek Kirschner, and the Mayor of Khodorovsk, B. Fr. Rożen, on the steps of the consecrated House. The People's School Society in the Bobrkov district has for a long time been carrying out an extensive campaign to build people's houses and chapels. This activity has already yielded excellent results. Thanks to the generosity of the public, magnificent buildings have been erected in numerous villages for the benefit of the Polish countryside. Recently, a solemn ceremony of the consecration of the TSL house took place in Bortniki near Chodorow.

The act of consecration was performed in the presence of the starost of the district, Franciszek Kirschner, MA, a representative of the TSL Main Board, Judge Danilewicz, chairman of the TSL Circle, Adamowski, MA, chairman of the TSL Reading Room, Br M. Zamoyska, Count F. Zamojski, Prince Eugeniusz Lubomirski, Counts Szr. Mycielski, Count Szeptycki, the president of "Sokol" A. Stokulski, the president of the 20th R. p. kaw. z Z. Hołowiński, the chairman of the Catholic Action Włodzimierz Wojnowski, numerous teachers, representatives of the neighbouring Reading Rooms, and crowds of the public. During the ceremony, a number of speeches were made emphasising the importance of the work to improve economic relations and village education. The beautiful ceremony left a memorable impression on everyone.
