The Walhalla is a German memorial mausoleum in Donaustauf on Bräuberg Hill above the Danube River. It was built between 1830 and 1842 by order of King Ludwig I of Bavaria. Among the personalities commemorated is a bust of Nicolaus Copernicus chiseled by Schadow in 1807.

Monument to Rosa Luxemburg

Róża Luksemburg (1871-1919) was a Polish social democratic activist, ideologist and journalist. She also lived for many years in Germany (murdered in Berlin), where she was closely associated with the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). From September to November 1898 she was editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Sächsische Arbeiter - Zeitung" in Dresden.

An inscription on her memorial, located near the Elbe (Elba), reads: FREIHEIT IST IMMER FREIHEIT DER ANDERSDENKENDEN (Freedom is always the freedom of dissenters).

Technical data: pedestal in sandstone; relief in bronze (cast); height approx. 230 cm.

Jan Łaski, also known by his Latin name Johannes a Lasco, was born in 1499 into a Polish noble family. He was first a Catholic priest, then an Evangelical-Reformed theologian, the most prominent Polish Reformation activist, humanist, writer, translator, diplomat, secretary to King Sigismund I the Old. He organised Protestant churches in East Frisia and England and established the Calvinist Church in Poland.

Spatial form "Object of Good Thought "
Erlangen
Spatial form "Object of good thoughts" at the Technical Faculty of Friedrich-Alexander-Universität, on the west side of the building of the Institute of Chemistry in Erlangen (Germany), by Marian Bogusz. The form was created between 1971 and 1972. Technical data: construction of 28 steel sheet panels (painted in various colours) around an aluminium white sheet and wire form. Height 400 cm, width of each segment 50 cm, total width approximately 10 m.

Plaque and relics of Richeza Lorraine
Klotten
Richeza was the wife of Mieszko II and mother of Casimir the Restorer. The relics of Richeza are located in the parish church of St. Maximin in Klotten.
A memorial plaque reminds us that this was the former residence of Rycheza and her three children. They probably stayed here between 1040 and 1049.

Monument to the January Uprising
Munich
The monument to the January Insurgents in the Alter Südfriedhof cemetery in Munich is made of Swedish black stone. It is engraved with 36 insurgents' names, although only eight were buried in the grave. The central part of the monument bears the official coat of arms of the National Government, while the lower part bears the inscription: 'To the memory of the insurgents of 1863 a grateful homeland'.

The marriage of Ulric I of Württemberg to Agnes, Princess of Legnica, took place in 1259. Agnes was the granddaughter of St. Hedwig of Silesia of Andechs. The marriage was a combination of the counts of Swabia and the Bavarian court. The collegiate church (Stiftskirche) in Stuttgart contains the tomb of the princely couple. The heads of Ulrich and Agnes rest on cushions on which are carved the coats of arms of their families: the Swabian antler of Ulrich and the Piast eagle of Agnes.
