Report on the takeover of the Gates of Dawn by Fr. Carmelites.

From Vilnius reports (Hr): The ceremonial handover of the Gate of Dawn to the Carmelite Fathers took place on Saturday 1 of this month. The ceremony took place in the morning. Mass was celebrated by His Eminence Archbishop Jalbrzykowski, after which the shrine was handed over to the monks. The solemn unction was celebrated by the Prior of the Fathers of the Discalced Carmelites in Poland, after which "Pod Twoją Obronę" and "Salve Regina" were sung. The sermon was preached by Fr Aleksander Lubecki. The celebration of the return of the Carmelite Fathers to the Gate of Dawn gathered crowds of the faithful. The previous pastor, Fr Zawadzki, was retired.
