A short press release regarding the preservation and subsequent deposition of the heart of Archbishop J. Teodorowicz in the Armenian Cathedral in Lviv. The inscription to be placed on the urn is also given: "The heart of H.E. Archbishop Jozef Teodorowicz, who so ardently loved God and the Fatherland." Heart of the late Archbishop Teodorowicz

The heart of the late Archbishop Teodorowicz will be deposited in the Armenian Cathedral in Lviv. After the death of the late Archbishop Dr. Joseph Teodorowicz, the embalming of the corpse was performed by Prof. Dr. Marciniak in the presence of the doctor, assistant professor of the University, Dr. Bross. A wish was expressed from many quarters that the heart be removed from the corpse of the Archbishop, which was also done during the embalming.

According to the doctors' verdict, the late Archbishop's heart is of exceptional size. It was preserved by the doctors and temporarily deposited in the Armenian Cathedral. As we learn, the Armenian Chapter has ordered a golden urn from the workshop of Mr Dabrowski on Rutowskiego Street. The urn has been made and is awaiting the heart of the late Archbishop to rest forever in the Armenian Cathedral. The urn bears the following inscription:

"The heart of H.E. Rev. Archbishop Jozef Teodorowicz, who loved God and the Homeland so ardently." .

A commission of conservators will meet in the coming days to determine the exact place in the Armenian Cathedral where the urn containing the heart will be deposited. The placement of this urn will take place solemnly with the participation of the clergy and society of Lviv.
