Płyta nagrobna Łukasza Jagielskiego to prostokątna, umieszczona pionowo tablica wykonana z jasnego marmuru,m na niej inskrypcja ryta. Litery odkute kapitałą rzymską, całość napisu jest równomiernie wyryta i wyśrodkowana, a różne fragmenty tekstu wyróżniają się wielkością i stylem liter - ligatury i zdobne inicjały, szczególnie w słowie „QUEM” i „CURIORIEM”, gdzie litery są silnie stylizowane.
